A native of Houston, Texas, Gloria has been a pivotal component of Horizon Auto’s growth and continues to be as valuable an asset today as when she started with the company in 1996. After high school Gloria worked for Houston Lighting and Power as an Inventory Control Analyst. There she excelled as she demonstrated to her supervisors that she had a passion for numbers and an incredible attention to detail. However, Gloria found herself a victim of a major HL&P downsizing in 1992, she picked herself up and jumped into a brand new industry when she accepted a position with Strachen Shipping Company. There she did equipment control and pricing for one of the steamship lines represented by Strachen; a few years later, Gloria went to work at Biehl & Co. where she was afforded the position of Customer Service Representative.

Today, Gloria has ownership of Horizon, not just in spirit but in the monetary sense as well. She enjoys being with her family, which includes 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and now even a great grandchild.
